The aim of the Account Manager is to support the Head of Corporate & Government Solutions (CGS) in improving the productivity, efficiency and profitability of the CGS Division.


  • To actively work with the Head of CGS to ensure all clients are receiving maximum return on investment.
  • Work on projects assigned by the Head of CGS, to improve the efficiency of the team and the customer satisfaction of existing clients.
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders to ensure client feedback is considered in product development, product issues are swiftly resolved and clients are satisfied.
  • Deliver reports to the Head of CGS on progress of projects, deliverables and ETA’s.
  • Collaborate with the Head of CGS and Marketing to develop customer support materials, better client engagement collateral and improved upsell campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our Data team to obtain additional data relevant to the on-going development and growth of the CGS team.
  • Liaise with Finance and the Data team to ensure new clients are on-boarded promptly and invoicing is kept up to date.
  • Manage own pool of clients and achieve all individual targets.
  • Be the key point of contact for clients, meeting with them regularly to report success, explain product developments, position new solutions and facilitate growth and/or renewal of contracts.
  • Provide support to Head of CGS and complete other miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Proactively identify improvements to processes and solutions.

Skills and attributes

  • Bachelor’s Degree / tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role (e.g., working as a Business Manager in a Healthcare agency).
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical health brands or devices is preferable.
  • Proven account management experience with a strong track record of growing client account value.
  • Demonstrated ability to position and sell value solutions, with ability to pick up new solutions quickly and take ownership of positioning these with clients.
  • Ability to work well both in an independent manner with a high level of autonomy, and in a busy team environment.
  • Strong people skills: you’ll be working closely with the CGS business unit, plus the wider HealthShare team.
  • Professional and confident communication skills: you’ll be engaging with clients in person, over the phone and via email.
  • Stay up-to-date with product developments, providing support to clients and Sales/Support teams.
  • Ability to obtain a deep understanding of client’s current position, needs and challenges.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Interstate travel may be required (approx. 20%).
  • Previous success working with brand teams on brand planning and strategy highly desirable.
