About the role
The Data Insights & Operations Manager function is to drive improvements in efficiency and quality of products and services delivered.
Directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the BODs Manager will be a leader in the business, responsible for developing and driving a positive, high performance and collaborative culture.
Refining existing processes so as to drive improvements in efficiency and quality of products and services delivered.
Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of data extraction, manipulation and reporting practices across the business.
Working closely with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of product and service delivery related to data and reporting.
Coordinating and optimising routine performance reporting to key parties including clients and senior management.
Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to optimise communications with current and potential clients.
Creating and updating financial forecasts in collaboration with Finance to correctly measure commercial performance of various business units.
Documentation of procedures, and training of other staff for business-critical operations and relevant system administration activities.
Management Reporting – ensure the right metrics are being accurately tracked and summarised for management in a timely manner.
Growth & Innovation
Creating and implementing workflow and reporting processes to support new business initiatives.
Harnessing numerous data sources to help drive innovation and growth across the organization.
Exploring new systems and technologies to increase internal capabilities and/or efficiency.
Contributing to Product and Development initiatives in order to successfully execute on new and existing business requirements.
Skills and attributes
Hold a relevant undergraduate university degree.
3+ years’ business experience in analytical roles.
Experience in the health sector highly desirable.
Experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with an ability to juggle changing priorities will be essential.
Scripting experience in R and Python good to have with SQL experience highly desirable.
Experience with big data environments. BigQuery experience highly regarded.
Data visualisation experience with atleast one BI tool. DataStudio is preferable but not required.
Experience running a small, high performing team.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Demonstrated people management skills with a clearly demonstrable track record.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to think creatively and develop non-traditional solutions to complex business challenges.
