HealthShare is seeking an experienced professional from the healthcare / medical sales industry to join our growing team. As a Practitioner Engagement Representative at HealthShare, you will assist in the achievement, and act in support of, the education and training of HealthShare’s solutions to primary care physicians. You will be at ease at building rapport, comfortable liaising with healthcare professionals, and will have the ability to source, develop and close leads for the business unit.

HealthShare is seeking an experienced professional from the healthcare / medical sales industry to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role conveniently located in Bondi Junction. The role of Practitioner Engagement Representative offers stability and regularity of working hours – it is primarily an office-based role, with very limited travel required to medical practices or industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Generating leads by developing, identifying and securing relevant direct training opportunities
  • Serving as a Practitioner Engagement Representative for pre-defined locations to achieve all the relevant practitioner engagement team goals and metrics.
  • Liaising with GPs, practice managers and other healthcare professionals – primarily over the phone and occasionally in person – to schedule and train them on free, easy-to-use support tools and clinical resources.
  • Establishing and Nurturing great relationships and trust with medical practices around Australia and play a key role in their clinical pathway
  • Reporting all communication through Salesforce (no prior experience required – training will be provided).

Skills and attributes

To apply for this full-time role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Life or Medical Sciences (essential), and understanding of Medical terminology.
  • Comfortable liaising with healthcare practitioners and practice staff over the phone, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organised and high attention to detail - ability to work methodically, accurately and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with healthcare / medical IT systems, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Energetic ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to operate within a fast-paced office environment.
  • Be able to work in and contribute to a friendly team environment.
  • A quick learner with ambition to grow.
  • Medicines Australia training certificate (or willing to obtain).

Candidates with experience in sales, tele-training or pharmacy are highly desired, however this is not a mandatory requirement.
