About the role

HealthShare’s award-winning innovative digital products were used by over 8 million Australians and 10,000 doctors in 2020, with record growth so far in 2021.
BetterConsult is one of HealthShare's flagship products. It's a pre-consultation clinical questionnaire that patients fill out before seeing their doctor. Patients are asked their agenda, symptoms and other clinical information and this is then translated into a concise medical summary for the doctor to review before the consult begins.
BetterConsult dramatically improves the consultation process for the patient and doctor. Over 1.2M questionnaires were completed in the last 12 months, with the volume growing rapidly month-on-month.
BetterConsult has also recently launched in the U.S. market and has partnered with one of the largest US healthcare companies to roll out the product.
As the BetterConsult Team Lead, you will be directly responsible for architecting and leading the delivery of completely new features as well as enhancing existing features. Your skills will be instrumental in the success of BetterConsult and achieved by working closely with Product, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, the Design team and the wider business.
The BetterConsult Team Lead reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Skills and attributes
Proven experience in Technical and Team leadership
Professional experience in using both front-end and back-end programming web development
Commercial experience with Python development
Commercial experience with web frameworks, such as Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, Express, etc.
Proficient understanding of version control systems such as Git/GitHub
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Proficient in .NET C#
Commercial experience with Cloud development, such as GCP, AWS, Azure etc.
